Michael Parker
Michael was born in England and then moved to Australia as a young boy. It was at an early age that he was introduced to the world of dirt bikes. At 18 years of age, Michael began to compete in national motocross events throughout Australia that led him to road racing in the 125cc class.
At the age of 22, Michael and his brother moved to the USA where he quickly realized there was a large market for after-market prodcuts for all manner of vehicles, including 4-wheelers. As a result, Michael and his brother started a company called BullyBumpers, an after market tubular bumper system built particularly for early Ford Broncos. For a number of years BullyBumpers became renown for specially designed bumpers and roll cages for any number of 4 wheelers.
Following the success of BullyBumpers, Michael returned to his roots and earlier passion of sport bikes. Michael began to design and build prototypes for under seat exhaust systems that would enhance the performance and exhaust note of the street bike, using the MotoGP machines as the hallmark. ExtremeGP was born and hence, the company motto, "taking it to the streets". A firm believer in sold R&D, Michael spent numerous hours and efforts to design, test and re-test until he created the prototype that could finally satisfy his need for precision and performance. but also the most efficient, user friendly, aesthetically pleasing lines of design. Michael's skills and knowledge as a racer and designer, combined with his reputation for integrity and honesty, has now bevome the cornerstone of the business.
As recognition grew so did the demand from other industry suppliers to be invcluded in the ExtremeGP experience. Tomahawk Tires was such a company who supplied the track and street tires for testing by ExtremeGP's team. The test bikes wear the Tomahawk tire logo today with pride.
